The Loving Seed Village
Our intentional community in progress where those of us who elect to do so may live, work and learn. We look to the rich history of intentional communities worldwide who focus on ecology, economy, community and consciousness. This is a place to live together sustainably, collaborate with the Earth in harmony and empower all else to do the same.
TLS Village ties all of The Loving Seed together, educating and inspiring future generations of seed revolutionaries.

This is The Way

The Beginning
Our farm is located in Freeport, IL. We currently own the 30 acres of green grass above, excluding the solar panels. There lies big house, four big barns, a chicken house, two sheds, two silos, a pond and a stream. Our immediate plan is to raise goats and chickens, grow an acre of vegetables, plant 150 fruit trees and an acre of ginseng.
We are planning a summer solstice gathering and music presentation as well as plenty of weekends of big projects. While these fields may not look like much right now, this is only the beginning of our diversification. The dream is grand.

The Dream
We will not just work this land, but will spread our roots deep into the soil; our connection growing stronger with each gust of wind, each rainstorm, each season, each harvest. We will be a community of humans coexisting perfectly with every organism, from the soil to the sky. Our dream for this Village is to foster love and cultivate curiosity; to bring sustainability and empowerment to the forefront of our teachings. Whether on this land or the surrounding, we hope to inspire. We will be a farm, an orchard, a pasture, a prairie, a gallery, a stage, a home, but most importantly, a community.
There is much to do, but our dream of harmony keeps us alive.
